Bosch Diner
In the days of Jheronimus Bosch, the members of the Illustre Brotherhood of Our Blessed Lady invited their fellow brothers to a meal: a Swan Brethren meal. Jheronimus Bosch, who was a member of the brotherhood, also took his turn. Five hundred years later this hospitality and fellowship are recreated in Bosch Dinner, culinary contest in which cooking teams from the quarters of ’s‑Hertogenbosch - inspired by the works of Jheronimus Bosch - compete for the best dishes, the finest tastes and the most beautiful presentation. Bosch Dinner starts in the city quarters, where volunteer gourmets with a passion for cooking organise test dinners for employees and clients of small-scale volunteer initiatives. This culminates when, at the central marketplace of ’s‑Hertogenbosch, five hundred people are guests at the banquet and the jury express their opinion.
Bosch Dinner is produced by the Jheronimus Bosch Foundation 500, supported by event and marketing bureau Artishock Events and assisted by students of the secondary hotel and catering school of the Koning Willem I College.
