Bosch Art Film

Campagnebeeld BAF 2012
Bosch Art Film is a four day celebration of art and film. The festival presents poignant films and documentaries about art and artists, artist-films and videos, and hosts an inspiring programme of talks and presentations by filmmakers, artists and other special guests.

Every year BAF highlights specific subthemes. The first issue in 2010 focused on ‘the outsider’; the free fighters of film, video, visual arts and fashion.
In 2011 BAF explored architecture & space, family ties, seeing & collecting and fashion. The latter route included the much appreciated screening of Bill Cunningham New York.
In 2012 Bosch Art Film will feature about thirty films, including several world, European and Dutch premieres, in some way related to the themes of visual art, architecture, photography and animation. Visitors can join talks with architects, artists and filmmakers or get carried away in their own virtual reality film tour by C.A.P.E. Crew.
There will be a special animation programme for students of the St. Joost Art Academy open to the general public. Photographers Malick Sidibé and Jamel Shabazz will star in documentaries; their pictures will be exhibited in the central hall.
