Bosch by Night: Bosch comes to live in this spectacular lightshow on the market square in ‘s-Hertogenbosch

Bosch by night

In 2016, ‘s-Hertogenbosch’s visitors and inhabitants will be treated to Bosch by night. This open-air spectacle brings Jheronimus Bosch to life in light and sound with a spectacular show on the market square his studio was once located on. The free show will be provided on multiple evenings every week from March through to the end of December.

Bosch by night introduces you to the world-renowned painter, his fantastic work and his era in an appealing, accessible manner. The buildings along the market square will be brought to life using exceptionally high-quality, life-size projections. These explain the story behind the famous works that ended up being dispersed around the globe and were created by the master from ‘s-Hertogenbosch over 500 years ago at his studio on the market square. Bosch by night’s light and sound transport you to the painter’s fantasy world full of wonderful monsters and timeless symbolism that fascinates and inspires people from around the globe to this day.
