Jheronimus Bosch’s work is unique. Every day, thousands of people admire Jheronimus’ paintings and drawings at leading museums around the world. For five centuries artists from every culture have been inspired by the boundless imagination of this famous inhabitant of ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
During the Jheronimus Bosch Year, attention will be paid to contemporary artists as part of the Bosch Grand Tour, an extensive exhibition programme resulting from a unique collaboration between the Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven, De Pont museum in Tilburg, MOTI Museum of the Image in Breda, Natuurmuseum Brabant in Tilburg, Het Noordbrabants Museum in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Stedelijk Museum ‘s-Hertogenbosch and the TextielMuseum in Tilburg.

The Bosch Grand Tour introduces you to the works of renowned artists from the Netherlands and elsewhere. The 11 different exhibitions will display their contemporary interpretations of Jheronimus Bosch’s timeless themes and modern adaptations of his famous paintings.
